Stainless Steel Cooking Pot Handels

The Decemberists "This Is Why We Fight" Live on SiriusXM

are not (so far) has never been a particular fan of the Decemberists .
But the latest work, however, criticized by some pure & hard fans of the first hour, me is getting to be one.
At a time when the appearance still counts a lot, but look away from the excesses of the decades that have closed the century, the boys appear to Portland's antidive par excellence.
Even more than the breed of "new folk" or the host of "New Sounds from Brooklyn," which, as far as low profile, maintain their iconography recognizable, the Decemberists seem to register employees Upim clothes.
But quietly and Bass went to number one on Billboard, just to accept, making their job a little more chewy for the masses but not too much rubbish.
And, for me, this song is really really nice.

PS remember the first one that says that REM is a Sacripante (but which has the words a bit of reason and h). But hey, what's wrong?

Anorexia Nervosa: Statistics

that could not be a group of cult

the time of RAIN (here live from Rockpalast of Monaco of Bavaria) (but in Italy because there is no Rockpalast?) And She Sells Sanctuary The Cult Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy was a bit hard wing of the new wave.
new wave of late, the one that went into the twilight and spatasciava in a thousand streams, from pop (talking heads and care, for instance) to rock hard (in fact, that the Cult Electric then tried to make the reincarnation of Led Zeppelin and hoping those who lived and so on).
But the Cult of the mid-80s left their mark, they had style and personality, and songs.
lasted little?
I continue to think like good old Neil: it's better to burn out Than to fade away.
What then oh, he wrote and sang but in the end the mica has put into practice, the old man (God rest his soul but eh if you had already retired to cultivate onions maybe we could have avoided that thing Lenois done with anxiety).
But really this is not a post on Neil Young has a post on cults and Rain, a song that year there (was it 1985?) I rang in his ears a lot. And you?
Have a nice night.

Difference Between Lent Wreath

Wicked Lester - Love Her All I Can

Public in my little "brothel" (azz. ... Silva is truly a peerless creator of slang! As we do without him?) That this post appears on the group blog to which I am participating for a while and that, in addition to my unfortunate presence, is composed of really smart writers. Run to visit, it is really worth.

This dry rock and roll in the late 60's / early 70's appeared a few years after rework within one of the best and most sober (so to speak, but yes you can say) KISS album, I'm talking about the "Dressed to kill them launched into orbit in 1975 with Rock and roll All Nite and C'mon and love me.
LOVE HER ALL I CAN ago "read" what are the obvious references of the initial duo Stanley / Simmons (Kiss the two who ran the Wicked Lester) in particular, one can see, but I say that one can see very well you see 1) Who and 2) Kinks.
WICKED LESTER was primitive by the band which, with the subsequent insertion of Ace Frehley and Peter Criss, and with an immense amount of graphic art and make-up, the great manager Bill Aucoin (who died not by much) stood up and Kiss the product throughout its iconography (always with the support of no small children).
I think of those pioneering times with great tenderness when these songs came out of Wicked Lester Gene and Paul were kids who were penniless localacci the ranks in New York but with clear ideas and hard rock only a sketch in their heads I miss seeing the kind existed.
In fact, the two traditions rockandroll ammericane inspired yes, but with the watchful eye to the perfidious Albion. Then came
also Zeppelin and Sabbath and the story changed.
But the very first stirrings of Kiss were all as you hear them here. Serena
night.

Jacksonville, Fl Glory Hole

Yet another post on U2

I think over the years we all got to try a variety of feelings towards the Irish band.
Joy to the excitement of the first disk, lost for the megalomania of Bono, the latest disappointment for poor production.
But the digression should not jeopardize the love (yes love) that sometimes we tested for their items.
The deep disappointment "as it turned out" should not overshadow the many good parts. When love ends
seems everything is a process.
Then the years pass, the bad memories tend to fade and peep the flashback that you did not expect more.
After 5-6 years of not listening, last year I slowly started to regain confidence with the band's repertoire. Today, after a period of indecision, I'm selecting those that are essential pieces for me. Above and beyond all, beyond the crisis, beyond the crash.
STAY (Faraway, So Close!) lords, for example, can not be buried by discontent. Marita
to be recovered among the best songs of that time. And of that group that was on top of the world before rolling down.
And to hell with that big cock of Bono.
hallelujah!

How To Catch An Egg In Paper

NIGHTWISH at the right time

Now it may happen more. But I go to
intripparmi of a piece of "symphonic metal" sung by a soprano (Tarja Turunen) in a Finnish band is not so normal.
But I guarantee you that, having dodged the NIGHTWISH so far in the knowledge that they had raised more than a raised eyebrow here and there, that's so short, I guarantee you will enjoy this song at dawn, drunk with fatigue and full of moisture in bones, headed for the city love-hate relationship in which I struggle for about fifteen years, in the midst of the misty "heath" Emilia .... here is that yes in fact I felt pleasure pure. The song is
SLEEPING SUN , gender is a hybridity that is, but perhaps the most pure and crystalline voice of Tarja (do not listen to the remake version of 2005, but strictly the original of 1998 is by Oceanborn, a good album), the melody of engraved which goes high and majestic in the territories in which we are not accustomed valhalliani, the power that is held under the epic (and also the confusion that prevailed at that time I neurons) in short all those things they put me in an ideal position to "appreciate".
Which confirms my theory of listening context. The songs do not always have an objective value or rather have it but not in personal sphere of each. In the personal sphere also matters a lot "as" the "where" and "when" listening to what mood you are.
that remains is to share it. And good night from some who otherwise put them back on.

Wm. Rogers And Sons China

A heart that tulsa

I have written at other times of sincere love that I bring to the small great man of Tulsa, Mark Knopfler, without which he would still be playing in a cover band and one without which Eric Clapton would miss an important piece of their history.
JJ Cale artist was so fundamental that arises in cross genres and years, going to seriously affect almost every American artists of country rock (or not).
I hope that whoever steps in these parts know that for example the famous "Cocaine" is the sack of flour JJ Cale (in addition to After Midnight Clapton, and the same Call me the breeze of Lynyrd Skynyrd, to name just two) and that the gentleman in question has always been the benchmark of star much harping on him by the public. Moreover
JJ is a shy and introversissimo individual who has always shunned the limelight and is incredibly little known to mass audiences.
Of all the albums he has done over the years, one is the best, carry forever in my heart for personal reasons, the beautiful GRASSHOPPER.
From where I get a couple of songs to delight your ears. The
"direstraitsiana" (hahaha) DEVIL IN DISGUISE and sweet and mawkish You Keep Me Hangin 'On (which has nothing to do with the namesake of the classic Supremes). And now
space nostalgic records like this, alas, no more leaving. Really.

Deep Purple and how to make a "comeback album"

In 1984, after it had closed forever Ritchie Blackmore Rainbow experience (of which he speaks elsewhere, given the complications and interference with other artists) members continued to surprise the MARK II's most famous hard rock band of all time: the DEEP PURPLE .

For the uninitiated the Mark II (Blackmore-Glover-Lord-Paice, Gillan) is the best education, which are linked to the larger critical and commercial successes, without wanting anything away from Coverdale, Hughes, Bolin , Morse and Company.

The Mark II is in history, is the history of hard rock.

And the album that Deep Purple they decided to record together in 1984 was one of the first examples of a reunion (at the time, too, but Aerosmith did that most of reunion it was the return of Joe Perry, but also on This will return us) worthy of the name. Maybe in 1984 the reunion tasted less blatantly commercial (if I think about that recently the Police I writhe your guts, and I love the Police) and the most artistic. It focuses on new discs rather than moneyed touring. DP
fact is that they came up with a "comeback album" controcazzi with, pardon the esprit de finesse.
disc originated from the reunion, PERFECT STRANGERS, not at all disappointed expectations. Deep Purple were all the best, very good songwriting, great production, flawless performances by all band members for once serene and concentrated (then, of course, after the hard times the eternal dispute-Blackmore Gillan and go back to maps and forty-eight).
Certainly the record does not contain a new star or a new Highway Speed \u200b\u200bking, but you know, time passes for all and we must also adapt both to changes in the world around you and to your registry.

PERFECT STRANGERS, while falling short of Machine Head or in Rock, gave sound "lessons of hard rock" to the myriad band of the era, remembering that in 1984 the genre was at the top of the charts worldwide in its many different versions, from the just born thrash metal of Metallica and his companions, to hair / glam metal American Ratt and Dokken and Motley Crue, the British style of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, Scorpions of melodic metal to pop in short .... a pleasure.
Deep Purple, even if only for an album, took the scepter in his hand and gave him a pair of slaps on the right and left of the Ocean.

With a handful of excellent songs, including at least three of the absolute level: the riffoso opener "Knockin 'at your backdoor," the sinuous "Perfect Strangers", the melancholy "Wasted Sunsets".

The song of the same name the album is the crown jewel, but will post the ballatona Wasted Sunsets first because there is a voice of a mature superprestazione Ian Gillan who may have lost some sharp but has certainly gained in depth of interpretation, because there is a second assolone Ritchie Blackmore of the most lyrical and heartbreaking that I have ever heard.

the next.

Canon Sx110is As Webcam

Potter (Grace, not Henry) struggling with Neil Young on Letterman

Nocturnals Grace Potter and his is already a bit of time to move on the edge of the star system. It seems that lately we are moving, on the other hand offer a rock-blues great bill which, although lacking in originality, is at the top of today's performance like that. Billboard is beginning to reward the band with high positions in the standings. In short, the good (and not bad eh) Grace is emerging slowly with merit.

In this case the girl is accompanied by enough high-sounding names to give to posterity a splendid performance of Cortez the Killer, the famous song of the best Neil Young.

She cries a little but the interpretation is still strong and level, nothing surprising for those who already knew her.

The two things that strike me, however, are two more:

- madonna as there is the trumpet in this piece, how to give that extra touch of epic quality that goes in perfect sync with the pathos of the song.

- really the only fish out of water but is very good (but boring here) Joe Satriani, star of the modern guitar, but frankly unable to get into the spirit of the song. Are these cases where you know that the technique is not enough to offset the monstrous heart. And the solos In the Younger as "primitive" compared to Satriani, are dramatically better and more functional piece. I have this indelible version on Live Rust, for example.

2 Month Old Choking On Phlemn

Janelle MonĂ¡e

1) are not exactly a fan of black music, at least not for that output after 70 years (with the sole exception of Prince).
2) amy winehouse although White had given a great shock at the time of rehab but then went on a tangent
3) I thought guiltily that it was a new janelle Beyonce or rihanna and I never miss the spun smear
4) now that the long wave has arrived at a notorious conservative traditionalist & rocker as I am I could not help but feel e. ......

.... say it is pure dynamite seems reductive.

(PS Kendricks and Ruffin you still have some hope of being considered a model for some young that instead of rapping and singing, soaring sculettare how did you)

3 Advantages Of Water Cooled Engines

drums Brooklyn

Brooklyn are at least three years, which continues to churn out new music in an absolutely outweigh any other city (district?) on the planet.
It 's a little indie has become the center of the world.
Among the very many proposals (and I only Vampire Weekend and Grizzly Bear, but there are really galore) recently struck me THE DRUMS.
hit for the freshness, the dynamism, for the ease that emanates from their unpretentious songs.
The famous (at least in the parallel universe of those who watch the indie charts) is LET'S GO SURFING , a kind of Beach Boys crossed with the garage and with a dash of melodic punk.
fucking bomb back to the Beach Boys, perhaps more influence today than when they existed. However, there
around the song, which I already work in the world of advertising for things like cars for thirty years (but I do not know which spot), and is characterized by the initial whistle contagious.
Move your ass and look west toward the Big Apple, to Brooklyn.
For the moment do not emerge as scenes pop.
